Responsibility
We believe every human being has a responsibility to Mother Nature, in order to keep a good balance of life. Likewise, our corporate responsibility is focused on three main areas.
Community Development:
Every year we contribute significant amount of our revenue to island council which is used for island development and community enhancement projects. We support and contribute for social activities run by various authorities; including school, atoll hospital, island council and other NGO. Our aim is to increase our contribution and support.
Sustainability:
Despite various challenges we strive to minimize single use plastic in all our operation. We emphasis on waste management including reduce, recycling and reuse of items that we use in our operation. Water sustainability is very important and it is carefully managed in our operation. We encourage not to run unnecessary water and electricity through our operation. Our goal is to ban single use plastic completely, be plastic free place and only uses eco-friendly compostable food containers for activities around the operation. In addition, implement proper water, energy and waste management practices.
Conservation:
Keeping nature in its most natural form despite of the development is another major area of focus in our corporate responsibility practices.
We partner with Island School and NGOs to run different programs on Tree Planting, Coral Gardening, and Beach Protection.
