The atoll is one of the most celebrated dive destinations in the Maldives, renowned for its 26 vibrant channels, drift diving, and exceptional visibility year-round. Thanks to consistent ocean currents in both seasons, every dive is full of life and energy.
One of the crown jewels of the region is the Golden Wall, a world-famous dive site featuring glowing soft corals and breathtaking vertical walls — a true underwater spectacle. Many sites with multi-colored soft corals, sea fans, staghorn corals, fire corals, and rare black coral trees.
And just beyond the island lies the longest unbroken barrier reef in the Maldives, stretching over 50 km, a dream for explorers and photographers alike.
Regular sightings of white tip, black tip, grey reef, nurse sharks, hammerhead sharks, many large pelagic creatures, napoleon wrasse, eagle rays, moray eels, turtles, vast schools of big-eyed trevally and seasonal manta rays.
